Some of the best things we saw on our short trip to Dublin recently: Butlers chocolate shop (probably the best) and the National Museum of Ireland (Decorative Arts and History) which is housed in the old Collins Barracks. The parade ground was really impressive and I especially like the way the measurements were all marked out in 'paces'. 

This is the V&A courtyard. Lots of people stretching out, relaxing and splashing around in the sunshine (and a fantastic cafe just inside the door...)

This is a balcony in the Victoria and Albert Museum. It is such a big airy and cool space and the V&A collection has some amazing things in it. A perfect place for us to retreat from the hot London sun.
