Before travelling back to Edinburgh, I had a few hours to explore an extremely rainy Malaga so I decided to have a wander around the Centro de Arte Contemporaneo. It's quite a small gallery but had some really interesting things in it, including quite a few Warhols. A great way to spend a rainy day and to have a bit of a chill out after an intense few days of over-indulgence.

Another Seville highlight was the Alcazar, a moorish palace. The palace is decorated with (mainly) Islamic pattern and decoration but was almost overwhelming with a hangover...

Really beautiful though, and I definitely need to go back and explore the parts we missed (including amazing gardens) another time.

Last weekend I went to Seville with two of my best friends and, although most of our cultural experiences(!) on the trip took place in restaurants and bars, we did also manage to squeeze in a little bit of sightseeing. These photos were taken at Plaza de Espana in Maria Luisa Park, a building erected in 1928 for the Seville Expo the following year. It is a beautiful spot and well worth a look.
