This is the V&A courtyard. Lots of people stretching out, relaxing and splashing around in the sunshine (and a fantastic cafe just inside the door...)

This is a balcony in the Victoria and Albert Museum. It is such a big airy and cool space and the V&A collection has some amazing things in it. A perfect place for us to retreat from the hot London sun.

This week I went to the Natural History Museum in London to see their butterfly exhibition. It was a in a small(ish) hot and humid tent but to be in a place with so many beautifully patterned butterflies flying all around us and landing on us was well worth the heat.

I love getting on the tube in London - there are so many exciting places to go and things to see. Don't think that many people share my transport enthusiasm though...

I keep seeing Wisteria growing everywhere. I love the colour and how it hangs. This is a house on Richmond Green in London.

This is a lane in Richmond in London in the run up to the Royal wedding next week. Very pretty and VERY English.

At the weekend we went to Glasgow for a day of fun (funded by a gas bill rebate. Amazing!). The day started at Kelvingrove Museum where we found these heads hanging from the ceiling. Weird, but in a good way.

These were taken at the Missoni Hotel in Edinburgh. There is so much crazy pattern all over the place, hall carpets no exception. A really nice place to stay, although not sure how you would feel about it after a big night out.
